Foster and Black

Starting out as a single hole-in-the-wall espresso bar, Foster & Black is a growing movement bringing specialty coffee to unexpected places. Founded by two Sunshine Coast locals, our coffee beans are locally roasted by our talented friends at Semi-Pro Coffee and all locations are our own. - Foster and Black

It's all about texture and mood at Foster and Black, Chermside. Their spaces are as unique as they are, and the lighting needed to show this.

The feature of the store is a custom piece, designed and fabricated by Lumen8, using our very own H-Series. This piece defines the most important zone in the store, the coffee counter. 

In addition to this, Roll track spots have been used to highlight the merchandise and draw the shoppers attention to the retailer's broad range.

Subtle accent lighting is the final touch in this design. Flexible LED neon has been concealed in the cornice detail, acting as a wall grazer to highlight the curves and textures of the wall surfaces.
