Nappe XL2 Pendant by MASIERO

The Nappe XL2 Pendant is a part of the Masiero Collection. Designed by Marco Zito, this series is an expression of the Masiero's close ties to the region of Treviso, located in northeastern Italy. For this range, Zito was inspired by the 'nappine' (tassels), typically used to close curtains and adorn Venetian salons. These tassel shapes have been stylised by disassembling and simplifying these decorative objects.

The oversized Nappe XL2 features pyrex rod diffusers and an inbuilt LED source, creating a glare-free, spectacular light display. The Nappe range has a  wide variety of shapes and finish options, each version unique and perfect for contemporary applications.

At 1.35m long, the Nappe XL2 is ideal for creating a show-stopping focal point. This design looks fantastic in hospitality settings such as bars, lounges or restaurants. It is equally suited to void spaces and stairwells within commercial office foyers and it is a perfect choice to add personality to a contemporary retail space. Alternatively, it can also be used in a residential setting as a modern piece of art, suspended in a double-height space or hung low in a more intimate setting.

The Nappe XL2 contains two light sources, one within the upper shade and the other within the perspex rod 'tassels'.
