Koura by David Trubridge

Koura Pendant by David Trubridge is a contemporary light inspired by Maori culture. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, Koura resembles traditional woven baskets and the curled form of the New Zealand native freshwater shrimp, kōura, which is its Maori name.

Available in 7 sizes from 500mm (H) to 2400mm (H), Koura Pendant is suitable for small and large scale interior projects. Perfect for lighting foyers and stairwells, voids, living spaces and retail environments. When illuminated, Koura casts intricate light shadows onto surrounding surfaces, transforming a space from day to night!

David Trubridge designs are inspired by his surrounding natural environment. Following this idea, he has a strong focus on sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint on the earth.

All of his fittings follow these sustainability factors;

• FSC certified Bamboo grown in renewable forests
• E0 laminating glue avoids harmful toxins
• Minimal wastage produced
• Water-based paints (Coloured one side or both side versions)
• Flatpack international shipping vastly reduces freight impacts

The Bamboo plywood finish is available in natural or painted on either one or both sides.
