Kina by David Trubridge
Description
Kina Pendant by David Trubridge is a sculptural light piece inspired by Maori culture. Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, it references the inner shell of the local saltwater sea-urchin called 'kina' in Maori which is often found washed ashore on New Zealand beaches.
The Kina Pendant is available in 5 sizes from Ø440mm to Ø1400mm and is suitable for small and large scale interior spaces. Perfect for lighting living and dining rooms, entry voids, and foyers as well as retail and hospitality interiors. When illuminated, Kina casts intricate shadows onto surrounding surfaces, creating drama and intrigue.
Inspired by nature, David Trubridge has a strong focus on sustainability. Each of his pieces follows these sustainability factors;
- EPD accredited product
- FSC certified Bamboo grown in renewable forests
- E0 laminating glue avoids harmful toxins
- Minimal wastage produced
- Water-based paints (Coloured one side or both side versions)
- Flatpack international shipping vastly reduces freight impacts
