Armonia Pendant by Vistosi
Description
“Looking to the past to design the present with ideas that look to the future” is the design philosophy of architect Francesco Lucchese, who created the Armonia collection for Vistosi. Armonia combines modern technology with traditional glass blowing to create a new twist in designer lighting.
The Armonia Pendant is comprised of a circular metal frame, encompassing two or four glasses. The black nickel frame is available with a gold or copper inner ring, and an assortment of crystal cylinders in different colours and glass finishes.
The historical reference for this design is found in the techniques used for processing the glass: the balloton, which gives the glass surface a particular crossed relief that creates a special optical effect, the rigadin, the traditional striped design, both straight and twisted, which in the past decorated the surfaces of Murano glass furnishings to obtain interesting refractions of light, and the new elongated rhombus pattern.
This produces unique light patterns on surrounding walls, creating a soft, ethereal glow.
The Armonia pendant is suited to both residential and commercial environments. It is ideal for illuminating dining rooms, living areas, and as a boutique feature light for hotels, bars and restaurants.
This pendant is fitted with E14 globes which can be phase dimmed dependant on globe. Bluetooth and Dali dimming require an additional, remotely installed component.
The Armonia range also includes a Ring Wall Light and Wall Light.
